We are a fishing, camping, lodging, boating and recreation destination, also offering swimming and sunning on Taw Caw's beautiful sandy beach. Just a short boat trip down Taw Caw Creek will lead you to the Big Water of Lake Marion, the largest of the Santee Cooper lake system.

Taw Caw Campground & Marina is a family owned business situated on 11 acres with over 2,000 feet of waterfront. The resort includes waterfront and pull through campsites, 9 motel rooms, a picnic shelter, two climate controlled bath houses and two dump stations. Taw Caw offers a paved boat ramp, 49 slip marina and 150' lighted fishing pier as just a few of the amenities available to guests taking advantage of Taw Caw's fishing activities. The Campground General Store offers grocery items, beverages, ice, live bait, and all necessary licenses. Mid grade non-ethanol gasoline is available on our docks and on the waterfront shoreline. Wi-Fi is free to our Taw Caw guests.

Taw Caw Campground and Marina is conveniently located just across from the creek from John C. Land Landing, which is host to many of the major bass tournaments and other special events. Taw Caw is proud to have provided lodging and camping for the bass tournament anglers over the years, and we always look forward to them returning to us each tournament season.

The Striped Bass Festival, sponsored by the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce, is a local event held annually in April. It is a springtime celebration and a fun way to bring together the citizens of our County and the many great visitors who attend each year. The Striped Bass Festival offers parades, dancing, poker runs, music, crafts, food and more during its weeklong event.

For a relaxing family vacation under the shade trees lining the shores of South Carolina's prime crappie, catfish, bass and striper waters, come on down to Taw Caw. A warm Southern welcome awaits you!
