Overlooking the Speedway grounds and the famed Bristol Dragway is a new benchmark of camping luxury featuring a private, exclusive “gated community” of 20’ x 50’ numbered reserved spaces with power, water and sewer hook-ups. The entire camping area is paved and landscaped and offers Wi-Fi and 24-hour assistance & security. No Open Fires – Must be off the ground and in something you can put a lid on.

GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES FOR MEDALLION CAMPGROUND

To report any noise complaints or security concerns during office hours, or if you have questions about your campsite, please email [email protected] or call (423) 989-6944 (please dial 911 for emergencies).
During the hours of 7pm – 6am if you need security assistance please call our overnight security office at – (423) 963-8912.
Quiet hours are enforced between midnight—7AM. Please be responsible during posted quiet hours and respect your neighbors.
No open fires (must be off the ground and in something you can put a lid on, ex—fire pit, barrel, etc.) BBQ grills/propane grills are permitted. Propane fill is not available on BMS property.
Personal golf carts, ATVs, etc. are prohibited.
Other prohibited items include fireworks, illegal drugs, weapons of any description, glass containers, drones/Aircraft of any kind, and other items that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other guests.
Vehicles and other camping belongings must remain and fit in your allotted site.
You are permitted one RV and one Vehicle per assigned site. Vehicles and trailers that do not fit completely in your site may be parked in our gravel overflow lot free of charge. Please do not park in adjacent campsites or in the roadway.
The installation of permanent camping facilities is prohibited.
Please place trash in appropriate receptacles and/or trash bags.
Trash pickup times vary. Please keep trash can accessible so that it can be emptied.
BMS is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
Solicitation of any type is not permitted on BMS property. Sale of food, beverages, souvenirs or merchandise of any kind is not permitted.
External stereo or television speakers are permitted, provided the noise does not disturb other patrons. DJs or live bands are not permitted.
Generators are NOT permitted in Medallion Campground
PETS
- You are allowed to bring your family pet(s) when visiting Medallion Campground. To ensure safety and enjoyment of all guests and campers please abide by these policies:
- Please keep your pets leashed at all times when outside of your camper.
- If a pet is aggressive or causes disturbances you will be asked to kennel the pet.
- All pets must be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all times.
- Please clean up after your pet and properly dispose of the waste.
- Please do not walk your pet through another camper’s site or allow them to relieve themselves on someone else’s site.
- Pets need to be current on all vaccines.
- Pets may not be left outside while owners are away.
Cancellation Policy
- Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to scheduled arrival, and 25% of reservation plus tax will be forfeited.
- For cancellations 13 days to 3 days prior to scheduled arrival, 50% of reservation plus tax will be forfeited.
- If guest is a "no show" or gives less than 2 days notice prior to arrival date 100% of the reservation plus taxes will be forfeited.
- Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds or credits are issued due to the discomfort of nature. No refunds or credits will be made for early departures.
- If you need to cancel your reservation you must call during business hours. Email notifications are not accepted.
- $1 Good Sam reservation fee is non-refundable.
