Hirsch Creek Park
Hirsch Creek Park reservations open April 3, 2024 and the park closes September 16 (weather dependant).
Located on the outskirts of Kitimat and bisected by Hirsch Creek (from downtown follow Highway 37 north, turn left into Hirsch Creek Park immediately after crossing Hirsch Creek Bridge). There is a horseshoe pit located near the covered area. This area is designated a wilderness/natural area. Minimal disruption of the forest and no further development within the park, will ensure trees and open areas remain intact.

The maximum nights that you are allowed to book online is 14. If you wish to stay longer than 14 days, the additional days must be done in person with the park attendant onsite a maximum of 48hrs prior to the booking expiring and up to the evening of the last night that is booked.
Reservations are only secured once full payment is received.
Reservation holders must be at least 19 years of age and hold responsibility for the behavior of all members of their camping party
A camping party is defined as up to 8 people with at least one person who is 19 years old.
Reservations will open around the beginning of April of each year and bookings can be made 6 months prior to your arrival date.
Reservations are non transferable and any reservation holder found to be in violation of this will forfeit their camping fees and may also be black listed from the park. If a customer can no longer use their booking it is recommended you cancel the booking and receive the applicable refund.
The primary reservation holder must be present during the entire stay at the park. Non attendance may forfeit your camping fees and result in removal from the park. Identification may be requested to confirm the booking.
Check In Time is 3pm and Check Out is 11am Quiet Time is 10pm
Arriving with more vehicles/camping units and or persons in party may result in additional fees being charged or refusal of service.
Refunds will be issued up to 48hrs in advance of your 1st night of your booking minus $7 administration fee.
Failure to occupy your site 24hrs after your first registered night will result in forfeiture of the remainder of your booking and any associated fees.

No cash refunds- a cheque will be mailed within 10 business days to mailing address provided.
Refunds are not given those who are evicted from their site.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your reservation up to 48hrs in advance of your 1st night of your booking and receive a full refund minus $7 administration fee. Less than 48hrs notice a refund minus the $7 administration fee and two night fee at the non electrical rate. Failure to occupy your site 24hrs after your first registered night will result in forfeiture of the remainder of your booking and any associated fees.
