Nestled in the heights above the Minnesota River Valley, Allanson's Park in Henderson, Minnesota, offers an idyllic setting for campers seeking a blend of tranquility and outdoor adventure. With 17 well-equipped campsites, each featuring its own fire pit and access to amenities like restrooms with showers, electrical and water hookups, and a dump station, the park ensures a comfortable outdoor experience. The emphasis here is on nature and the abundance of activities it offers: hiking trails wind through the area, offering stunning views and immersive encounters with the local flora and fauna, while a large playground and a communal shelter cater to family gatherings and social events.
A stone's throw from the historic downtown Henderson, the campground serves as a perfect base to explore the quaint charm of the town, especially during its vibrant events. The weekly classic car Rollin from late May through September and the Henderson Hummingbird Hurrah in August are local highlights, featuring a plethora of activities that range from hummingbird banding and educational talks to craft and food vendors, all designed to celebrate the beauty of nature and community spirit.
The festive atmosphere continues with Sauerkraut Days at the end of June, bringing together the community and visitors for a weekend filled with fun for all ages, including a car show, live music, youth baseball tournament, parade, excellent fair food, and unique competitions like the World Champion Kraut Eating Contest. Allanson's Park opens for the 2024 season on May 24, 2024 and extends through October 20, 2024. Reservations can be made for the season beginning March 1, 2024.

Check-In time is 12:30 p.m. (CST).
Check-Out time is 12:00 p.m. (CST).
“Check-Out” means your Campsite must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. (CST). We ask that you honor our Check-Out time promptly to minimize hardship on the next arriving guests.
Deposit: The total amount due for your reservation will be taken (as a deposit) at the time the reservation is booked.
Cancellation Policy
We will return your deposit, minus a charge equal to a one-night stay ($30 + taxes and fees), if you cancel FIFTEEN(15) or more days before your arrival date. If you cancel FOURTEEN (14) days or less from your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.
NO SHOWS: Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the required time, listed above) will be considered a ‘NO SHOW.’ ‘NO SHOWS’ are subject to the same cancellation policies. The deposit for any "No Show" reservation is always forfeited and the stay cannot be moved to a different date.
Should any guest be required to vacate the premises at the request of the Henderson Police Department or other law enforcement authority, the deposit made at the time of the reservation shall be deemed non-refundable.
